Thomas began to realize the value of his poetry and spoken word in relation to his mental wellness. He decided to publish a three-part series overall entitled "Poetry From PTSD".
The concept was to show both the bad days and the good days to connect and inspire.
Thomas's second poetry collection had the same intent as the first set, with a little more direction.
"Obscure Thoughts From A Mentally Ill Mind" includes two poems sampled and featured in the Emmy Award nominated video "The Art Of Warriors".
Thomas dedicated an entire collection to his wife and best friend. Entitled "Love In The Key Of Dee#", the # is a reference to a sharp note in music.
His wife is a lover of music, and this small detail was just another nod to their love and friendship.
Inspired by the amazing experience of national recognition, Thomas created the collection entitled "Crossing Lines: Overcoming The Adversity Of PTSD With Poetry".
Unlike the other collections, this one brings together three military veterans who share their personal perspectives through poetry.
The final collection Thomas published under his pen name.
"Insights Into PTSD Through Poetry" is the culmination of a long and difficult wellness journey and learning process.
A guide from the metaphorical dark to the light.
